Big Green Day at Queen Elizabeth Park
7th October 2022
On Saturday 1st October we were delighted by the number of children who attended our Big Green Day activities between 10 a.m. and 12 noon, marking the end of Big Green Week. Fifteen children came along with their parents and in almost every case they took part in both the Scavenger Hunt and the Art in Nature competition. As you will see from the photographs below of the three winning art entries, we have some extremely creative children in our nature-loving community.
In the evening, The Big Climate Debate at The West End Centre in Aldershot provoked a good deal of thought by concerned parties. The meeting was very well-attended — and chaired by Kathryn Stuart from Friends of Queen Elizabeth Park. What a day of worthy representation by our community!
