Easter Trail 2023

What an amazing turnout we had for our Easter Trail on Easter Saturday. We were completely bowled over by the number of people who came along to support us. We estimated there would be a maximum of 50 people, but we had to quickly run off to pick up extra trail sheets when we ran out after just 7 minutes! It goes to show how many people appreciate the park. In the end, over 300 people came along with ages ranging from a few months to 97! A huge thank-you to everyone, especially those who had to wait while we restocked!

It was so lovely to see the park full of families with children running around in the sun hunting for the 26 wooden eggs. Most people found all the eggs with the letters to spell out the answer Green Woodpecker, and also managed to match the correct egg with its bird.

We had some really lovely feedback on the day and also on Facebook and via letters of thanks and donations. Next year, we’ll cater for more people and will come up with a new trail to keep everyone on their toes!
