Letters to Tomorrow

Friends of Queen Elizabeth Park are supporting Letters to Tomorrow, an initiative from Friends of the Earth’s Great Big Green Week.

Children and adults are invited to write a letter expressing their hopes for the future where the environment is protected, and their fears if climate change is not slowed down. We have placed a green ‘Letters to Tomorrow’ postbox on the gates of the Farnborough Road entrance to the park where you can post your letters.

Last post is Friday 16th June and there will be age-related prizes which have been kindly donated by the Blackwater Valley branch of Friends of the Earth.

The letters will be on show during the afternoon of the Great Big Green Lunch on Saturday 17th June. Please see the Events page for more details.
